We recognize that the safety of your data is paramount. As such, we want to assure you that we are taking active steps to safeguard your information, and we are continually improving our services to provide even greater security.
Q: Can I store my data on the Cloud?
We are currently developing several features, such as cloud backup and storage, as well as the ability to export your data, to guarantee that your information is always readily accessible. We are targeting a mid-year release for this update in 2023.
Q: What If I lose my device, or get a new iPhone?
To avoid losing your pieces in the event of device loss or damage, make sure you include ClayLab in your iCloud backup. Please refer to the documentation provided by Apple for more information on how to back up your device to iCloud and how to restore your data from iCloud backup to a new device.
Q: Will I be able to sync my pieces across devices?
We are working on adding this feature and plan to make it available later this year.
Q: What about Android?
Let’s start by saying that we love Android and we plan to support it.
We are currently focused on improving the product available on iOS to make sure that it meets - or better exceeds - our users’ expectations. As soon as we are done with that we are going to announce what the timeline for the Android version will look like. 🤖 ❤️
Q: What’s next for ClayLab?
We are planning to release many brand new features in 2023, including (but not limited to) Cloud backup, syncing across devices, filtering, the ability to customize stages and record details about the firing environment.

Q: The app is not upgrading to the latest version. What can I do?
You will be able to upgrade the app as soon as you switch to a device running a supported version of the operating system. Make sure to include ClayLab in iCloud backup on your current device before switching to a new one!

Thank you for asking 🙏🏼! The best way to support this project at the moment is to share it with your friends or on social media. The more people use it and give us feedback the better we can make it.
Q: Can I filter, search or sort my pieces?
The ability to search and filter pieces is a most-wanted functionality and we plan to add it later this year.
Q: What if I am not a wheel thrower?
We are researching how to best support other shaping methods as well. This will be one of the topics that will be discussed in our Facebook group in the near future, we hope you will join the conversation!
